🔧 Setup Requirements

All Platforms

Node.js: 18+ (with fnm, nvm, volta, or system install)
Workspace: GoGrab Space editor2 repository
Permissions: Read/write access to workspace files

Claude Code:

Cursor IDE with Claude Code extension installed
~/.cursor/extensions/anthropic.claude-code-*/ present

Cursor:

Cursor IDE installed
~/.cursor/mcp.json config support

Claude Desktop:

Claude Desktop app installed
~/.claude/claude_desktop_config.json support

⚡ Quick Setup (All Platforms)

1. Clone Repository

git clone <repo-url>
cd editor2

2. Install Dependencies

yarn install

3. Choose Your Platform(s)

# For Claude Code
yarn setup:claude-code-mcp

# For Cursor (coming soon)
yarn setup:mcp

# For all platforms
yarn setup:mcp && yarn setup:claude-code-mcp

4. Verify Setup

# Check MCP status
yarn session:status

# Test MCP tools (in your AI chat)
preflight({ task: "test MCP integration" })

🚨 Common Issues

Issue: "MCP server not found"

Solution: Run the setup script for your platform

yarn setup:claude-code-mcp  # Or appropriate platform script

Issue: "Permission denied"

Solution: Make setup scripts executable

chmod +x scripts/setup-*.sh

Issue: "Node.js not found"

Solution: Install Node.js 18+

# Using fnm (recommended)
fnm install 18
