🐛 The Problem

Symptoms

🔄 Proxy: GET /docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/english/public/troubleshooting/system-overload-prevention.md?ts=1761756453813 -> http://localhost:5010/
🚨 EMERGENCY CIRCUIT BREAKER ACTIVATED for /docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/english/public/troubleshooting/system-overload-prevention.md - 11 requests in 5s!

Path Duplication

Notice the duplicated path segment:

• ❌ Bad: /docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/english/public/troubleshooting/...
• ✅ Should be: /docs/english/public/troubleshooting/... OR /docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/troubleshooting/...

The path contains BOTH the project name (GoGrab-Pulse) AND the language/scope (english/public), causing:

1. Infinite loops - File doesn't exist, keeps retrying
2. Circuit breaker activation - Emergency protection kicks in
3. Server overload - Hundreds of failed requests per second

🔍 Root Cause Analysis

The Flow

1. Search Indexing Starts

   User is in GoGrab-Pulse project
   SearchService starts building search index from manifest
   

2. Manifest Contains ALL Files

Why It Happened

The search indexing was:

1. ❌ Loading content from ALL projects (current + public + others)
2. ❌ Passing paths WITH the language prefix to MarkdownService
3. ❌ MarkdownService prepending the current project's effective docs path

This created a path like:

[Current Project Path] + [Language Prefix] + [Original Path]
docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/ + english/public/ + troubleshooting/...

✅ The Solution

Five Critical Fixes

Fix 1: Only Load Content from Current Project

File: apps/docs-angular/src/app/services/search.service.ts

Before ❌:

Rationale: Many GoGrab-Pulse files use .mdc extension (MDC = Markdown with Components). Without preserving the extension, MarkdownService defaults to trying .md first, causing 11 failed requests and circuit breaker activation before attempting .mdc.

🔧 Technical Details

Search Index Building Flow (Fixed)

1. User is in GoGrab-Pulse project
   ↓
2. SearchService.buildSearchIndexFromManifest()
   ↓
3. For each file in manifest:
   a. Extract project name from path
   b. Check if file belongs to current project
   ↓
4. IF file belongs to current project:
   a. Strip language prefix from path
      "english/GoGrab-Pulse/libs/..." → "GoGrab-Pulse/libs/..."
   b. Load content using path WITHOUT prefix
      loadFileContent("GoGrab-Pulse/libs/...", "en")
   c. MarkdownService prepends effective docs path
      "docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/" + "GoGrab-Pulse/libs/..."
      = "docs/english/GoGrab-Pulse/GoGrab-Pulse/libs/..." ❌

🔧 Additional Fixes

Fix 4: MarkdownService File Type Detection Priority

Problem: When loading content during normal page navigation (not just search), MarkdownService.detectFileType() was checking .md files FIRST, then .mdc. For GoGrab-Pulse files (which use .mdc), this caused 11 failed requests before trying the correct extension.
