🎯 NAVIGATION AUTO-GUIDE SYSTEM - FIXED!

🔧 Root Causes Identified & Fixed

The auto-guide system wasn't working due to 4 critical issues that I've now resolved:

❌ Issues Found:

1. Missing docs-manifest.json

• Problem: The manifest file was missing, so auto-discovery wasn't working
• Fix: ✅ Generated the manifest with node scripts/scan-docs-structure.js
• Result: Successfully scanned 224 files across 30 sections

2. Conflicting Navigation Link

• Problem: Manual override had { text: 'Applications Overview', link: '/apps/', order: 1 }
• Fix: ✅ Removed this conflicting link that prevented auto-guide detection
• Result: /apps/ route is now free for auto-guide

3. Disabled Hybrid Merging

• Problem: directoryId: 'apps' was commented out
• Fix: ✅ Uncommented to enable hybrid merging of discovered + manual items
• Result: Auto-discovered files will now merge with manual overrides

4. Insufficient Debugging

• Problem: No visibility into what was failing
• Fix: ✅ Added comprehensive debug logging to all services
• Result: Full visibility into manifest loading and navigation detection

✅ No More 404 Errors

• Auto-guide routes don't try to load non-existent files
• Clean console output with informative debug messages
• Fast loading with navigation-based detection

🔍 Debug Information Available

The enhanced logging will show you exactly what's happening:

1. Manifest Loading: Success/failure of loading the documentation manifest
2. Section Discovery: What sections were found and converted
3. Navigation Structure: Full navigation tree for each route
4. Child Detection: How many children were found for auto-guide
5. Auto-Guide Activation: When and why auto-guide is triggered
