GALAXY TYPE FIXES OCT 26

Ecosistema completo para organización y gestión de contenido con interfaces espaciales

🎯 Galaxy Type Conflicts Fixed - October 26, 2025

🔍 THE PROBLEM

We had TWO different Galaxy interfaces that were conflicting:

  1. multiverse.types.ts Galaxy (NEW) - Has planetIds, moduleIds
  2. space-map.types.ts Galaxy (LEGACY) - Has pageIds?, type, position, etc.

TypeScript couldn't distinguish between them, causing 50+ type errors across the codebase!

✅ THE SOLUTION

1. Renamed Legacy Galaxy → SpaceMapGalaxy

File: libs/core-models/src/lib/types/space-map/space-map.types.ts

// BEFORE
export interface Galaxy { ... }

// AFTER
export interface SpaceMapGalaxy { // ← Renamed!
  id: string;
  name: string;
  pageIds?: string[]; // Legacy property
  type: GalaxyType;
  position: GalaxyPositionConfig;
  visualTheme: GalaxyVisualTheme;
  groupingStrategy: GalaxyGroupingStrategy;
  // ... other legacy properties
}

2. Updated All Space Map Components

create-galaxy-dialog.component.ts

// Import
import { SpaceMapGalaxy, ... } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

// Properties
@Input() editGalaxyData?: SpaceMapGalaxy;
availableParentGalaxies: SpaceMapGalaxy[] = [];

galaxy-detail.component.ts

// Import
import { SpaceMapGalaxy, ... } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

// Methods
private initializeEnhancedGalaxyProperties(galaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy | GalaxyGroup): SpaceMapGalaxy { ... }

// Type usage
const enhancedGalaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy = { ... };

space-overview.component.ts

// Import
import { SpaceMapGalaxy, ... } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

// Properties
private filteredGalaxies: SpaceMapGalaxy[] = [];

// Methods
getFilteredGalaxies(): SpaceMapGalaxy[] { ... }
getGalaxyActivityScore(galaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy): number { ... }
getGalaxyHierarchy(): SpaceMapGalaxy[] { ... }
private buildGalaxyTree(galaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy): SpaceMapGalaxy { ... }
getGalaxyChildren(galaxyId: string): SpaceMapGalaxy[] { ... }
getGalaxyDepth(galaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy): number { ... }

3. Fixed AI Service Type

File: libs/space-map-lib/src/lib/services/space-ai.service.ts

// BEFORE
import { ..., Galaxy, ... } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

async generateAISuggestions(
  context: 'overview' | 'creation' | 'optimization',
  spaceData?: {
    universes: UniverseGroup[];
    galaxies: Galaxy[]; // ❌ Wrong type!
    worlds: WorldNode[];
    analytics?: SpaceAnalytics;
  }
): Promise<void> { ... }

// AFTER
import { ..., SpaceMapGalaxy, ... } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

async generateAISuggestions(
  context: 'overview' | 'creation' | 'optimization',
  spaceData?: {
    universes: UniverseGroup[];
    galaxies: SpaceMapGalaxy[]; // ✅ Correct type!
    worlds: WorldNode[];
    analytics?: SpaceAnalytics;
  }
): Promise<void> { ... }

4. Fixed UniverseDeployment Ambiguity

Problem: Two different UniverseDeployment interfaces existed!

Solution: Renamed multiverse deployment to MultiverseDeployment

File: libs/core-models/src/lib/types/multiverse.types.ts

// BEFORE
export interface UniverseDeployment { ... }

// AFTER
export interface MultiverseDeployment { ... }

File: libs/space-map-lib/src/lib/services/universe-manager.service.ts

// Uses the CORRECT UniverseDeployment from space-entities.types.ts
import { UniverseGroup, UniverseDeployment, UniversePublishConfig } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

const updatedUniverse: UniverseGroup = {
  ...universe,
  deployment: {
    type: 'subdomain', // ✅ Required property
    published: false, // ✅ Required property
    ...universe.deployment,
    ...deployment
  } as UniverseDeployment,
  // ...
};

5. Fixed Launch Station Library Conflict

Problem: Multiple launch-station-lib projects with same name!

Files Fixed:

File: editor/editor/libs/project.json

{
  "name": "editor-libs", // Changed from "launch-station-lib"
  // ...
}

6. Fixed Unused Import Warning

File: libs/ux-menu/src/lib/components/ux-floating-menu/ux-floating-menu.component.ts

// BEFORE
imports: [UxIconComponent], // ❌ Not used in template

// AFTER
imports: [], // ✅ Clean

🎯 TYPE USAGE GUIDE

When to Use SpaceMapGalaxy

// ✅ For Space Map module (legacy visualization)
import { SpaceMapGalaxy } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

const galaxy: SpaceMapGalaxy = {
  id: 'galaxy-1',
  name: 'Content Galaxy',
  pageIds: ['page-1', 'page-2'], // Legacy property
  type: GalaxyType.CORE,
  position: { x: 0, y: 0, z: 0 },
  // ...
};

When to Use Galaxy (Multiverse)

// ✅ For NEW multiverse architecture
import { Galaxy } from '@libs-foundational/core-models';

const galaxy: Galaxy = {
  id: 'galaxy-1',
  name: 'Products Galaxy',
  planetIds: ['planet-1', 'planet-2'], // NEW property
  moduleIds: ['module-1'], // NEW property
  universeId: 'universe-1',
  // ...
};

📝 KEY TAKEAWAYS

  1. Clear Naming Prevents Conflicts: SpaceMapGalaxy vs Galaxy makes intent obvious
  2. Type Aliases Help Transition: Use MultiverseDeployment for new arch, UniverseDeployment for legacy
  3. Module Boundaries Matter: Space Map uses legacy types, Multiverse uses new types
  4. Nx Project Names Must Be Unique: Always verify no duplicate project names
