User Workflow
Step 1: Build Platform Structure
- Open Modular Universe
- Switch to Build mode
- Create galaxies (feature domains)
- Add pages to galaxies
- Configure routes for each page
Example Structure:
Platform: "E-Commerce Store"
├── Galaxy: "Shop" (/shop)
│ ├── Page: "Products" (/shop/products)
│ ├── Page: "Product Detail" (/shop/product/:id)
│ └── Page: "Cart" (/shop/cart)
├── Galaxy: "Account" (/account)
│ ├── Page: "Profile" (/account/profile)
│ └── Page: "Orders" (/account/orders)
└── Page: "Home" (/)
Step 2: Design Pages
- Click Edit on a page in the route tree
- Canvas switches to page editing mode
- Add widgets (hero, product grid, forms, etc.)
- Configure widget properties
- Save page content
Page Content Stored In:
PagesStateService(local state)GgStoragewithpage_*prefix (flash persistence)- Auto-synced to backend MongoDB
Step 3: Attach Behavior
- Select a page-module in the canvas
- Open Behavior tab
- Click Attach Flow
- Select a Singularity flow from storage
- Choose trigger (onClick, onLoad, etc.)
- Map parameters if needed
- Flow is now attached to the module
Flow Execution:
- Flows execute automatically on triggers
- Results handled by
FlowResultHandlerService - Navigation, notifications, state updates work seamlessly
Step 4: Create Custom Modules (Optional)
- Click Create Module button in toolbar
- Module Builder wizard opens
- Select pages, widgets, flows to include
- Configure module metadata
- Generate and deploy module
- Module appears in canvas as a reusable section
Step 5: Preview Platform
- Switch to Preview mode
- Use preview controls to test:
- Device types (desktop, tablet, mobile)
- Themes (light, dark)
- Zoom levels
- Navigate through the platform
- Click buttons, submit forms
- Singularity flows execute in real-time!
- Test all interactions
Step 6: Deploy Platform
- Click Deploy button in toolbar
- Platform deployment process:
- Converts canvas to module tree
- Generates Angular routes dynamically
- Registers routes with Router
- Saves deployment info to storage
- Deployment modal shows:
- Base URL:
/platform/{universeId} - All generated routes
- Quick actions (Visit, Share, Copy URL)
- Base URL:
- Click Visit Platform to see the live platform
Technical Implementation
Dynamic Route Registration
The platform uses the same dynamic routing pattern as gograb-admin:
// 1. Generate routes from module tree
const routes = generateRoutes(modules);
// 2. Create platform route
const platformRoute: Route = {
path: `platform/${universeId}`,
children: routes,
data: { platformId: universeId, dynamicPlatform: true }
};
// 3. Register with Angular Router
const currentConfig = [...router.config];
currentConfig.push(platformRoute);
router.resetConfig(currentConfig);
// ✅ Platform is now accessible!
Singularity Flow Execution
Flows execute automatically in preview and deployed platforms:
// In WidgetRendererComponent
async ngOnInit() {
const flowTriggers = this.widget.properties?.flowTriggers;
if (flowTriggers) {
for (const [trigger, flowId] of Object.entries(flowTriggers)) {
const flow = await storage.get(`flow_${flowId}`);
this.bindFlowToEvent(trigger, flow);
}
}
}
private bindFlowToEvent(trigger: string, flow: LogicFlow) {
const eventMap = {
'onClick': 'click',
'onSubmit': 'submit',
// ... more mappings
};
const domEvent = eventMap[trigger];
this.renderer.listen(element, domEvent, (event) => {
this.executeFlow(flow, { event, widget, context });
});
}
Flash Persistence Integration
All platform data uses flash persistence for instant load and cross-tab sync:
// Platform state (30-day TTL)
readonly currentPlatform = autoFlashState('current-platform', null, {
database: 'modular-universe',
collection: 'platforms',
priority: 'critical',
ttl: 30 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000
});
// Deployment history (90-day TTL)
readonly deployedPlatforms = autoFlashState('deployed-platforms', [], {
database: 'modular-universe',
collection: 'deployments',
priority: 'high',
ttl: 90 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000
});
Benefits:
- < 1ms load time on page refresh
- Cross-tab synchronization
- Auto-sync to backend MongoDB
- Offline support
