🐛 Build Errors to Fix

Type Mismatches:

  1. ❌ ButtonWidgetFactory.create() → Should use getDefaultConfig()
  2. ❌ propertyConfig structure → Need to check correct format
  3. ❌ WidgetVariant[] type → Local vs. core-models type mismatch
  4. ❌ DataBindingCapability.supports → Should be supported
  5. ❌ WidgetEvent structure → id field doesn't exist
  6. ❌ WidgetSlot structure → id field doesn't exist
  7. ❌ WidgetStyles properties → background, fontSize, padding type mismatches

🎯 Next Steps

Immediate (Fix Build Errors):

  1. Fix button-widget.actions.ts - Use getDefaultConfig() instead of create()
  2. Simplify button-widget.module.ts - Use only core WidgetDefinition fields that exist
  3. Fix type mismatches in button-widget.variants.ts - Remove incompatible style properties

Then:

  1. Build & test the module
  2. Test in UI-Builder
  3. Test in Editor
  4. Test Singularity action invocation
  5. Documentation

📝 Lessons Learned

  1. Type Definitions Matter: The enhanced WidgetDefinition has many optional fields, but we need to use the types that actually exist in the codebase
  2. API Consistency: Need to check actual factory APIs before using them
  3. Gradual Enhancement: Better to start simple and add fields incrementally than to use all 30+ fields at once

🚀 Strategy Going Forward

For remaining 15 widgets, use a simpler, proven template:
