Context

Session 100 completed a major MongoDB cluster reorganization and Vitto API deployment:

1. GoGrab-Docs cluster created (Flex tier) - migrated 585 documents from test-modules
2. Vitto cluster created (Flex tier) - new production database for backend-vitto-api
3. Codebase updated - renamed MONGODB_CONNECTION_STRING_TEST_MODULES to MONGODB_CONNECTION_STRING_DOCS across all source files
4. Vitto API deployed to Railway - build succeeds, healthcheck passes, MongoDB connects
5. DNS BROKEN - the CNAME for vitto-api.gograb.space was created in cPanel, but gograb.space uses Cloudflare nameservers. The cPanel zone is ignored entirely.

Key Finding

The CNAME record exists in cPanel but not in Cloudflare, which is the authoritative DNS. Railway shows "Waiting for DNS update."

Tasks (7 total)

Task 1: CRITICAL - Add vitto CNAME to Cloudflare DNS

The core blocker. Without this, Vitto API is unreachable from the internet.

1. Go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/
2. Select the gograb.space domain
3. Go to DNS > Records
4. FIRST: Look at how api, ai-api, docs-api subdomains are configured. Note their proxy status (Proxied / DNS only). Our docs suggest they use "Proxied" mode.
5. Add new record:
   • Type: CNAME
   • Name: vitto
   • Content: bye1iet8.up.railway.app
   • Proxy status: Match the existing API records (likely Proxied)
6. Verify it resolves: dig vitto-api.gograb.space +short
7. Report back: List ALL DNS records for gograb.space subdomains with types, targets, and proxy status

Task 2: CRITICAL - Verify Railway Vitto API after DNS fix

After the DNS record propagates (1-5 minutes on Cloudflare):

1. Go to https://railway.com/project/8d9b4864-25f4-4c4e-b479-f5e49cea4001
2. Check Networking section - should no longer say "Waiting for DNS update"
3. Test: curl https://vitto-api.gograb.space/vitto-api/health
4. Expected: JSON with status: "ok", service: "backend-vitto-api"
5. Check Deploy Logs for clean startup
6. Report back: Full health response JSON, last 10 deploy log lines, Railway Networking status

Task 3: HIGH - Verify GoGrab-Docs MongoDB cluster data

We migrated docs-database from test-modules to GoGrab-Docs via mongodump/mongorestore.

1. Go to https://cloud.mongodb.com/ > GoGrab Space project
2. Open GoGrab-Docs cluster (gograb-docs.z422vsq.mongodb.net)
3. Browse docs-database - verify these collections:
   • doc-files (should have 585 documents)
   • doc-projects
   • doc-settings
   • page-views
   • search-events
4. Open doc-files and verify documents have path, title, content fields
5. Report back: Screenshot with collection names and document counts

Task 4: HIGH - Verify Vitto MongoDB cluster

1. In Atlas, open Vitto cluster (vitto.urgh5aw.mongodb.net)
2. Check for vitto-mind database (auto-created when Railway deployment connected)
3. Look for collections:
   • execution-traces
   • strategy-memories
   • agent-performance
   • user-patterns
   • autonomy-config
   • autonomy-checkpoints
4. Report back: Screenshot showing databases and collections (may be empty, that's OK)

Task 5: HIGH - Verify all Railway API services

Vitto deploy logs showed a 502 from ai-api.gograb.space. Check all services.

1. Test each:

Task 6: MEDIUM - Confirm Cloudflare is authoritative DNS provider

We believe Cloudflare manages DNS, but need definitive confirmation.

1. In Cloudflare dashboard > gograb.space > Overview
2. Check if domain is "Active"
3. Note setup type: Full (Cloudflare manages all DNS) or Partial (CNAME setup)
4. Verify nameservers match: kara.ns.cloudflare.com, colin.ns.cloudflare.com
5. Go to DNS > Records and screenshot ALL records
6. Report back: Setup type, nameservers, full DNS records screenshot

Task 7: HIGH - Verify Railway Vitto API environment variables

We identified missing/incorrect env vars. Verify corrections were applied.

1. Railway > Vitto API > Variables tab
2. Verify these exist:
