🎯 What Was Fixed

Issue #1: Space Slug Was Wrong (FIXED ✅)

Before:

🔍 How It Works Now

Space Creation Flow (Online)

1. User creates space via API:

   POST /api/spaces/initialize
   Body: { spaceSlug: undefined }
   

2. Backend creates space:

   // Name: "My Space" (default)
   // Slug: "my-space" (generated from name)
   

3. Backend adds space to user:

   user.spaces.push(spaceId);
   user.defaultSpaceId = spaceId; // If first space
   

4. Backend returns complete user profile:

The old space data is still in IndexedDB with the wrong slug. Run this command:

   • Go offline (DevTools → Network → Offline)
   • Logout & Login (will use local storage)
   • Space created with correct slug: my-space ✅

3. Test Multi-Space (Future):

   • Create API endpoint to add user to existing space
   • User can belong to multiple spaces
   • Space selector UI appears if user.spaces.length > 1

🔥 Key Architectural Decisions

1. Spaces Array on User ✅

• Users can belong to multiple spaces
• Each space has an owner but can have members
• User tracks all spaces they have access to

2. Slug Generation from Name ✅

• Slug is ALWAYS generated from space name
• URL slug is NEVER used to derive space name
• Offline and online modes work identically

3. Default Space ✅

• User has a defaultSpaceId for quick access
• If user has multiple spaces, they can set their favorite
• First space created becomes default automatically

4. Backwards Compatible ✅

• Existing spaces still work
• New spaces get added to user.spaces automatically
• Old data needs to be cleared (one-time migration)
