🎯 What You Need To Do

Your GoGrab Space platform has been updated with:

• ✅ Multi-space architecture
• ✅ Correct space slug generation
• ✅ Offline-first improvements

BUT the old space data with the wrong slug is still cached in your browser!

⚡ Quick Fix (2 Minutes)

Step 1: Open Browser Console

• Press F12 (Windows/Linux)
• Or Cmd+Option+I (Mac)
• Click "Console" tab

Step 2: Run Clear Command

clearCachedSpaceData()

Step 3: Refresh Page

• Press Cmd+R (Mac) or Ctrl+R (Windows/Linux)
• Or click the refresh button

Before (❌ OLD DATA):

📊 What Gets Cleared

The clearCachedSpaceData() command will delete:

• ✅ Old space data from localStorage
• ✅ Old space data from IndexedDB
• ✅ Flash persistence cache
• ✅ All gg:* keys
• ✅ All space_* keys

Your authentication will be preserved! You'll stay logged in.

🔍 Verify Success

After refreshing, check the browser console logs:

If you see ❌ after clearing:

1. Try clearing again
2. Try manual clear (see below)
3. Try logging out and back in

🛠️ Manual Clear (If Automatic Fails)

If clearCachedSpaceData() doesn't work, run this manually in console:

1. Correct Space Slug: my-space (generated from "My Space")
2. User Spaces Array: Tracks all your spaces
3. Default Space: Quick access to your favorite space
4. Offline Support: Works correctly even when offline
5. Multi-Space Ready: Foundation for belonging to multiple spaces

❓ Troubleshooting

Issue: clearCachedSpaceData is not defined

Solution: The app hasn't fully loaded. Wait 5 seconds and try again.

Issue: Slug is still wrong after clearing

Solution:

1. Logout completely: Click profile → Logout
2. Close all browser tabs for localhost:5200
3. Open new tab and login again

Issue: User.spaces is undefined or empty

Solution: This is expected! The backend will populate it on next space creation. Just verify the slug is correct for now.

Issue: Can't access /my-space/dashboard

Solution: The routing will update automatically. Try:

1. Go to root: http://localhost:5200/
2. Let it redirect you
3. It should go to /my-space/dashboard

📝 Summary

1. Run: clearCachedSpaceData() in console
2. Refresh: Cmd+R / Ctrl+R
3. Verify: Check logs for my-space slug
4. Navigate: Go to /my-space/dashboard

This is a ONE-TIME migration! After clearing once, everything will work correctly going forward.
