Summary

Theme system fixes to ensure UI components correctly apply dark and light themes:

1. 143.1 — Theme.service sync: light-theme/dark-theme now match active theme mode
2. 143.2 — Replaced hardcoded light colors in main-layout and universe-hub with var(--ux-*)
3. 143.3 — Added legacy aliases (--surface-ground, --surface-card, etc.) in theme-variables.service
4. 143.4 — Created THEME_CHEATSHEET.md, updated ai-design-tokens, theme-runtime README

Note on Session Numbering

User ran set_session({ sessionNumber: 143 }) at session start. MCP log_decision used the active session from sessions/history.json (142 — API move) instead of honoring set_session. Docs were auto-generated under S142 (142.9–142.12). Moved to S143 per user request.

v12.1 Fix (Session 143): MCP and backend-ai-api now enforce set_session robustly:

• MCP (local): In-memory enforced session cache; incrementSessionID, getCurrentSessionInfo, auto-documentation use it first
• backend-ai-api: log_decision/preflight use SessionService.getActiveSessions() when session not in args; set_session sessionID format fixed to {workspace}-{sessionNumber}.{sub}
