Session 146 — Daily Summary (2026-02-26)
Session: 146.1
Branch: session-146
Workspace: gspace1
Agent: Claude Code (Opus 4.6)
Status: Completed
Objective
Unify extension branding under the Vitto name as part of the broader brand strategy:
- GoGrab Space = the platform
- Vitto = the AI agent
- "GoGrab AI" = retired as a public-facing brand
What Changed
1. Chrome Extension Rename
- Directory:
apps/gograb-ai-extension/→apps/vitto-chrome-extension/ - Manifest name: "GoGrab AI Assistant" → "Vitto"
- All UI strings: titles, loading text, error messages, context menus, log prefixes
- Build script: output paths and zip naming updated
- Both manifests (dev + prod) updated in sync
2. VSCode Extension Rename
- Directory:
apps/vscode-gograb-ai/→apps/vitto-vscode-extension/ - Package name:
gograb-ai-agents→vitto(wasvitto-agentsbriefly, renamed S153) - Display name: "GoGrab AI Agents" → "Vitto by GoGrab"
- Command prefix:
gograbAi.*→vitto.*(15 commands, all menus, keybindings, config properties) - View container:
gograb-ai→vitto - All 16 source files: display strings, output channels, tooltips, log prefixes
- Build verified:
npm run buildpasses clean
3. External References Updated

What Was NOT Changed (by design)
apps/gograb-ai/— NX-managed Angular app, deep integration, no user-facing impact from directory name- Historical session docs (
docs/english/sessions/S75/,S78/,S97/, etc.) — frozen records GoGrab Spaceparent brand references — preserved in auth flows ("Sign in with GoGrab")gograb.spacedomain references.cursor/plans/internal planning files- Old VSIX release artifacts in

Files Modified
~60 files across both extensions + 4 external references:
- 22 Chrome extension files (manifest, HTML, JS, CSS, build scripts)
- 16 VSCode extension TypeScript source files + package.json + README
- Root package.json, CLAUDE.md, README.md
- 2 lib comment files (auth-core)
Key Decision
Why rename VSCode command prefix? The extension has zero external users. Renaming gograbAi.* → vitto.* now avoids technical debt. If we waited until after marketplace publication, we'd need backward-compatibility shims. Doing it while the user base is internal-only is the correct window.
Why NOT rename apps/gograb-ai/? It's a full NX project with project.json, path aliases, build targets, and 3 wrapper apps (Desktop, Mobile, Chrome extension) that load it via URL. That's a 100+ file change for zero user-facing benefit since the directory name is never seen by end users.
