Session 193: Workflow Improvement

Goals

1. Fix critical misconfigurations (MCP path, platform detection, branch naming)
2. Achieve Claude Code feature parity with Cursor (commands, hooks, rules)
3. Add Vitto and Cowork as first-class platform types
4. Automate session lifecycle (auto-manifest, stale cleanup, branch validation)
5. Create unified agent onboarding protocol for all platforms

Changes Made

Phase 1: Critical Fixes

• Fixed .claude/mcp.json — was pointing to editor2, now points to gspace1
• Fixed start-server.sh — no longer overrides CLAUDE_CODE_AGENT with CURSOR_AGENT
• Fixed preflight.ts branch naming — now expects session-{N} per SAGP v1.2
• Added vitto and cowork platform types across types, schema, and detector

Phase 2: Claude Code Parity

• Created .claude/commands/ — mirrors .cursor/commands/ (6 commands)
• Created /session command for one-step session setup
• Consolidated CLAUDE.md (Claude Code-specific, ~100 lines) + AGENTS.md (shared, ~200 lines)
• Eliminated ~60% content overlap between the two files

Phase 3: Automation

• Enhanced updateSessionManifest() to auto-create docs directory for new sessions
• Added cleanup command to session-manager.js (stale sessions + orphaned branches)
• Aligned session-manager.js branch naming to SAGP v1.2 (session-{N})
• Added yarn session:cleanup and yarn session:cleanup:fix scripts

Phase 4: Quality of Life

• Created .claude/hooks/session-check.sh — validates branch/manifest on every prompt
• Created unified agent onboarding protocol document
