Architecture Notes

Single Source of Truth

sessions/
└── sessions-history/
    └── {workspace}/
        └── history.json ← ONLY source of truth

Everything else is derived/cached from history.json

Recommended Flow

  1. MCP reads history.json directly
  2. On write, only update history.json
  3. Cache files regenerated lazily on read
  4. Manifests created on first decision, archived on complete
